Structured Story Lessons
That Support Real Progress
Many of my lessons follow a carefully designed structure that develop English skills while helping students build confidence step by step. Using original stories as a foundation, students listen, read, answer questions, practice vocabulary, develop speaking skills, and review key language throughout the lesson.
Simple Overview of the Process
By encountering new language in multiple ways and at multiple stages, students move from recognition to understanding, and ultimately to independent use. This structured approach is used throughout my story-based lessons, from beginner levels through advanced learners.

Experience, Creativity, and Original Lesson Design
I bring more than twenty years of teaching experience, including classroom instruction, private lessons, and over a decade of online teaching with children and teenagers. Throughout that time, I have taught students from a wide range of backgrounds and learning styles.
All Ositos English lessons are designed by me specifically for online learning. Over the years, I have built a large and growing library of original interactive lessons featuring stories, animations, images, sound, quizzes, guided speaking activities, and discussion-based learning. Every lesson is designed to keep students actively involved rather than passively moving through slides.
My interests extend far beyond language teaching and include history, science, sports, food, travel, and current events. As a fluent Spanish speaker who learned a second language through years of real-world use, I also understand firsthand the challenges students face when building confidence in English.

Personalized Learning
Every student is different. While lessons follow a structured curriculum, I adapt pacing, support, and lesson content to match each student’s interests, goals, and level of English.
Whether a student enjoys sports, science, history, food, current events, or other topics, I can often incorporate those interests into lessons and discussions. This helps keep learning engaging while making English more relevant and meaningful.
In the end, I believe it much more important to help each students build confidence and make steady progress at a pace that works for them as opposed to being overly committed to a fixed schedule.

Food Series
An 11-unit collection designed to teach beginner-level English learners (especially children) essential food-related vocabulary in a fun, structured, and visually rich way.

Learning a language is a journey, and every student begins from a different place. Some are learning their first English words, while others are ready to discuss stories, science, history, current events, and real-world ideas.
At Ositos English, the focus extends beyond the basics of learning a new language. Effective, confident communication is the goal. While reading, listening, and vocabulary are important, speaking is often the most challenging skill for students to develop and one of the most difficult to teach well. For this reason, every program places a strong emphasis on interaction, discussion, and meaningful communication.
Through carefully structured lessons, storytelling, guided discussion, and engaging activities, students gradually develop the English skills they need to express themselves clearly and confidently.
